The pond at Central Park NYC…I took this photo last November when I was ‘stranded’ in New York City after Hurricane Sandy hit. (Luckily I was with my two friends Denise and Tammy to keep me company). The city was in chaos with the subway system closed, most stores closed and people wandering the streets. I hit the streets too with my camera. Central Park was actually barricaded and closed with fallen trees and debris around, so I had to stand at the edge of the park (just across the road from The Plaza Hotel) and take this photo. It was autumn and the park was beautiful, I was dying to get in there, but had to take this from afar instead!
